"The operational support and experience I had with American Book Publishing was outstanding. The feedback and recommendations from my editor produced a book, which without hesitation is the ‘best it can be”. She offered recommendations on content I had not envisioned when I wrote the original manuscript. I was very pleased with the final product.
As the author, I also had direct input into the cover design. Not only was it consistent with my input, it surpassed my expectations. I thoroughly enjoyed the American Book Publishing journey. At Jeff’s request, I previously committed to a rough draft [of the book marketing plan] by the end of July. I have been traveling extensively so I will forward it to him shortly."—Theodore J. “The American Book Publishing Family provided an excellent service during the process of getting my book published. I was privileged to work with an excellent editor, Kay, who rendered so much patience and taught me so much. The design and production department has been so efficient at working to produce a finished product that is pleasing to me. The marketing department is diligently working at helping me to effectively promote my book. I am grateful for all the assistance during this process and feel that my book is a work of quality. The American Book Publishing Family gave me the opportunity that so many publishing companies failed to offer. “When I wrote my first book I knew that I had compiled important information that reflected my twenty-six year
career as a Vocal Trainer. I was convinced that there would be a market for my book. The biggest challenge for any first-time author is finding a publisher who is willing to, at least, read your manuscript. I queried about three publishers including American Book. I received three varied responses. It was the response from Nathan and American Book publishing that impressed me the most. This was because I was sent a long email with many challenging questions to answer. The impression I got was that I was dealing with a serious publisher.
When my book was accepted for publication I was thrilled but I also knew that there was along journey ahead. My editor, Abby, was terrific. She had the correct instincts to know what needed to be changed without pushing her own opinions too far. This level of professional courtesy was very important. I must admit that the first design I received for my cover was not impressive. That said, the Art Department was very open to change and actually allowed me to design my own cover which I am very pleased with. Since my book is just now being printed, I have only begun to interface with the production and marketing departments, So far, I am very pleased.
I would highly recommend American Book Publishing to new or well published authors. I am looking forward to a successful first book!” —Jonathan Morgan Jenkins, Author of Singing and Speaking on the Edge of a Grunt

“American Book publishing has been outstanding throughout each process. They have been thorough in making sure everything is covered in a professional way. My editor, Karen was the best to work with. The design of my book cover could not have been better.
With the above being executed so well, I look forward in the marketing and production department doing the same excellent job promoting my book as they have in all other phases. Excitement is running high because of the outstanding job done by everyone involved in my book.” —Steve Perdue, Author of Held Accountable by God

“Working with the team at American Book Publishing has been a dream come true. Professional. Dedicated. Impassioned. I couldn't have asked for a better experience in publishing my debut novel. I have worked closely with a whole team of people who are committed to making my story a success, and, I assure you, there are few things more encouraging than having a whole team of people on your side. Each person I've worked alongside has been professional, efficient, and, like I said, 100% committed to getting my story out there on the shelves. I am young and, before all of this began, I was completely starved of relevant experience in this industry. Nevertheless, the people at American Book Publishing took me under their wing and never once made me feel as incompetent as I now know I initially was. While I am still no expert in the world of publishing and marketing, I have made a great deal of progress, and I couldn't have done it without American Book Publishing.
The lessons that I have learned throughout this process are simply immeasurable. I am a completely different person now than I was the day I signed on with American Book Publishing. Not only do I know more about myself as a writer, but I'm also more in-tune with myself than I have ever been before. Overall, this has been one of the most exciting, most enjoyable experiences of my life, and it is one that I hope to repeat very soon!” —Andrew MacQuarrie Author of Here Dead We Live (Andrew is busy Medical school student, it is amazing that he could accomplish the completion of his first novel at this point in his life.)

"Working with American Book Publishing, as a first time writer, was a great learning step for me. My editors, I had two during the editing process, were amazing; advisory and patient every step of the way. They answered all my questions and made sure I was updated with the process of the manuscript regularly.
The design team asked me what I had in mind for my cover, and after considering what I wanted, they design the cover to not only meet, but exceed my expectations. With the production team playing their part my manuscript was at the printers in no time, and with the marketing team advising me on how to market my work my book was finally ready for the shelves. I would like to thank everybody from American Book Publishing who was involved in getting my book ready." —Werner Deyzel, Author of Through Angel Eyes

“American Book Publishing Company gave me the best experience I have had in my life. I have to admit that when I started the editing process I was terrified. My fear quickly ended when I started working one on one with my editor. My editor Amy is fantastic. She edited my book by making my words come to life in the pages of my book. Amy did not make any changes in my manuscript without my approval. She promptly corrected any changes I requested or provided me with a professional reason why this change or correction should not be made. It seems as though I had know my editor all my life. She made me feel so at ease and became one with me and my story. Mrs. Smith perfected my story. The book cover design department quickly designed my book cover. The design department came up with the perfect design. The Marketing department helped me to promote my book in a professional manner. I am in good hands with American Book Publishing Company. This has to be the best book publishing company in the world.” —Lawrence A. Hilliard, Author of Jimmy Mack |

“The book Called is my first experience with publishers. American Book Publishing has educated me every step of the way. They were willing to give my first book a chance. American Book Publishing editors were patient and understanding. They caught the purpose for Called and they did not attempt to change the voice of the book. The design department did a wonderful job. The cover of Called is a stunning symbolism of the books content.
I knew nothing about the production or marketing end of publishing. American Book Publishers made two fact filled detailed Author’s Guides that have guided me through this process. The Author’s Guides helped me develop a marketing plan and I believe my book Called has a much better chance of being successful due to utilizing that information. Thank you American Book Publishing for giving my book a chance.” —Don McAfee, Author of Called

Specifically, I am grateful to Kimberly for her excellent work in the editing arena. Her suggestions helped me to capture the meaning artfully and efficiently. Also, Jana and her staff were exceptional in matching the cover design with my vision.
As a first time author it has been a great learning experience. I look forward to working with A in the future. The encouragement, advice and tools have given me much more than a finished product. “Patience is a word for all authors. Our world is different from a Publishers world. We are creators, They are the mechanics who produce the product.
Both need patience and a cooperative spirit to move ahead. My book followed the route of a first edit and a full edit and subsequent procedures for designing a cover and final printing. There were delays and holidays that tested patience but the goal was to present a creditable product and that has been achieved. Marketing is the next step for fulfilling a mission of hard work by the author and publihser. This step too requires patience and a cooperative spirit to achieve results I look forward to the challenges ahead.” Roger Neetz Author of Embassy Intrigue

"There has been a litany of professionals at American Book Publishing that guided me through the process of bring my book to fruition. In all honesty, at times I felt frustrated, but in my angst, I noted patience and professional guidance by the staff at American Book Publishing. I frequently had to remind myself that they are the professionals in the publishing industry: I came to trust their expertise in steering me to make my book the best it could be. And indeed, they did.
My editor, Lindsey, was the perfect match for me with her academic background in the social and behavioral sciences. her editing skills shaped my writing into a readable manuscript, worthy of my expertise in psychology, and she maintained my "voice." All of this she did with a "velvet touch" in guidance and direction. Thank you very much Lindsey! The litany of other professionals at American Book Publishing I worked with are many. Stella, Director of Editing Services; Jeff, Director of Public Relations; Jana, Director of Design (great cover Jana); Nathan, Director of Operations, and Jordon, Acquisitions Editor, all must be recognized for their assistance." -John R. “As a new Author I didn’t know what to expect from my publisher. American Book Publishing has made the transition from manuscript to book an easy and positive experience.
I would like to thank everyone from American Book Publishing; especially my editor Angelia. When we were doing the edits it was if we were on the page so to speak. Angelia and I would often come up with the same suggestions on the next chapter, and we would even place the changes in the same place without speaking to each other.
The book design department asked me for my thoughts and input on the cover. The design that they came up with blew me away. It captures the essence of my book. Jana and her design team made my book more magical then I could have hoped for.” -D.S.Patrick, Author of The Dragons of Rosemar: The Dragon King Prophecy

“First, Nathan and Stella welcomed me to your company by explaining to me on the front end what was expected of me and made me realize that if my book were successful I would have to do my part in its promotion. At the time I originally signed on with you I was going through a few health issues. That has all been resolved and I feel great, so I am ready to saddle up and move on. I feel sure my commitment of my time and resources will meet with your approval.
Laura, my editor, was a joy to work with. For several weeks we were in constant contact sharing back and forth ideas and changes that needed to be made. I am convinced we have a great book to present to the public and it would not be what it is without Laura's expert input. Laura is probably the only one there who has actually read my book. I would hope the rest of you would check with her and see what she thinks of the book. When the rubber actually hits the road we will all have to be on board to promote Stanger in the Outfield.
I made a couple of suggestions as to the cover and what I received was more than I could have hoped for. Jana captured the essence of Stranger with the dark cover showing a ball player's silhouette against the background of stadium lights. A classic idea and right on the money. I have checked your on line archives and must admit your book covers are top notch. I just happen to think mine is the best. Please give Jana a hug for me and tell her I love my cover.
Jeffrey and I are in regular contact at this time. He is now waiting on me to get a yes or no from Grisham but his input in the promotional phase has been very helpful. I am working on the Market Plan and will have it competed and back to Jeff as soon as I hear one way or the other from John. Naturally it will mean a lot to get Mr. Grisham's endorsement but if we don't we will just work with what we have or will receive. Jeff is a very knowledgeable young man and I am sure we will come up with a great promotional plan.
I have had just one contact with Jeanette but I am sure we will work nicely together also.
In all I feel my association with American Book Publishing has been very worthwhile. I have some requests to make after I have completed my Market Plan but I am sure we will have no trouble reaching a mutual agreement as to what I should do and what you should do. -Norris Caldwell, Author Of Stranger in the outfield |

“For the first experience as fiction writer, I would have not asked for better, because with ABP I had it all. When I look at my first manuscript and the book today, I am amazed by the result. This is thanks to the fact that I have received a personalized attention at every step of the writing process.
From the editor to the marketing department today, American Book Publishing has proven to be the most professional team I ever dealt with. I know so many people with great ideas, who are just missing the opportunity to translate them into a book, but who are afraid of so many deterrent policies out there from many publishers; especially with regard to unsolicited manuscripts and first time writers.
Now that I know that American Book Publishing is there for every author with good stories and inspiration, I will not hesitate to recommend American Book Publishing to friends and relatives. It’s been a great first experience for me and for sure not the last.” -Jeff Mukadi, Author of The Black Oyabun: Destiny of a Lost Child |

“As a fledgling book author, I naturally had concerns about working with a publishing house. I had heard many horror stories about publishers: that their editors could be condescending, that they didn’t respect the artistic integrity of their authors, and so on. However, my partnership with American Book Publishing has been not only tolerable, but highly enjoyable as well. The company’s representatives have all been very gracious, explaining each step of the publishing process and patiently answering all of my many questions and concerns. Agreeing to work with American Book Publishing has been one of my best business decisions.
Of course, I have many people to thank. I humbly thank Nathan and Jordan for taking a chance on me, an unknown writer. I especially want to thank Susan and Stella for transforming my raw, meandering manuscript into a solid and respectable work of art. Jana designed a book cover for me that was nothing short of brilliant. As I move into the marketing phase of my book, I have quickly come to respect the expertise of Jenny and Jeffrey.
My second book is to be published by American Book Publishing, and I eagerly look forward to working with the company again.” -Jonathan Maxwell, Author Of Murderous Intellectuals: German Elites and the Nazi SS |

I look forward to working with the marketing and promotion departments who have already informed me of the steps that I must take to make my book a success. I feel grateful for a much dedicated publishing company and hope that all of our work pays off with a best selling book.

“This was my first experience ever with a publishing company, and American Book hasn't been anything but wonderful. They have walked me through all the phases of publishing with what seemed like painless measures. However, I know a great deal of work was put into my book by my extraordinary editor Kristin. Also the design team designed my cover from an original painting specifically created just for my books cover. What more could a girl ask for?
I look forward to working with the promotion and marketing team, and feel sure that my experience will replicate what I have already acclaimed as marvelous.
